Hello again:wave:
Yesterday morning Jess only ate 1 pellet for breakfast and was huddled up, not herself at all. I let her out of her cage and she was spotting urine and when I picked her up the area underneath her tail appeared wet with urine. An urgent vets trip resulted in a diagnosis of bloat, a baytril injection and I am syringing her orally with fibreplex and metoclopramide syrup 3 x daily until tomorrow lunchtime. She is now eating and seeming happier but earlier I was rubbing her tummy, she then had a drink, during which her tummy was gurgling quite loud. She also has some wind earlier today.
Are these good signs??
Does anyone know why she was spotting urine? could it be because she was feeling so uncomfortable?
Thanks Lisa x
