Poor Clover U/D No spurs :-( question

I found my little scaredy Clover this morning refusing food and in GI stasis. Trouble is, I couldn't feel any gas.:? This happened to her about 3 weeks ago but she came around quickly, she was gassy that time though.

I have treated her with Metacam, Infacol and Prepulsid on vet advice and will take her in tonight if she is no better. She has had fluids too

There have been no changes in vegetables or diet at all, she gets very 'simple' veg as is it as I tend to avoid all the gassy stuff. However, the hay she got yesterday was a new bale from the farm.

What could be the cause of two episodes together in 3 weeks? She had a molar spur and ulcer back in January and I know I will need to get that checked out again for her

Any spare vibes up here would be much appreciated!

Did you read the thread Tree started on stasis? There was a good posting about "ulcers" in it.

Oh no. :( She sounds like her namesake Clover here. Really hoping she improves soon.

It's just relentless, isn't it? Has Clover had Panacur?

Well Clover now has a little bit of an appetite but not for hay or pellets. Just an occasional nibble on a tiny bit of veg and she had a handful of dandelion leaves.

I took her to the vet and he can't find much up. She had a fair few poos in her tum too. I will give her more preulsid and will watch her tonight.

She still needs vibes but I see lots of bunnies on here do at the moment too :( Get well soon everyone's bunnies

How is she doing?

Clover isn't much better today much to my disappointment. She only took a small bit of kale this morning (just a treat as she normally gets only very infrequent amounts of this). She ate all of her veg last night over the night and there were plentiful poos, albeit small. I am topping her up with syringe feeding, not completely though as I think she is eating a little bit here and there still.

There is nothing more soul destroying than a bunny who is rejecting food IMO

Oh God yes, I know. :( Makes you feel utterly helpless. So sorry to hear she's still bad.

Have you tried rubbing her tummy? That always seems to help my Clover. And have you got any dandelion leaves?

Hi again. She won't let me near her without a massive commotion. She is a very skittish little thing anyway, quite a bad patient. She goes as rigid as a board. She has just nibbled a little hay and some spring greens (novelty factor) and I will leave her until later before I pester her with meds again. And I think I will syringe her feed her before bed to make sure she has extra fibre.

She has tonight turned her nose up at dandelion leaves.

She has not had any recent Panacur (had a 28 days course last year but oly because other buns were sick). Vet suggested we give her it again, as a 'just in case' so will start that tonight. No other EC signs though :?

Really hope she improves. My 2 are both on Panacur yet again at the moment. It's the only thing that seems to keep them OK. Is she having another 28 day course or 9 days? It's all guesswork for the vets really, isn't it? :?
