... is amazing.

All through my childhood I had pets who, sadly, came and went. No one seemed to understand how heartbroken losing one of them made me... I'd sit in my room and cry for days when one of them passed away, and this is kind of similar to what I do now - although maybe not as extreme, lol.

I think this forum is great, because it allows us all to celebrate the life of a loved one... and allows other people to show their appreciation too. Even though we don't personally know each others bunnies, we all understand how heartbreaking it is to lose a pet - because we grow attached to them, they're like our extended family.

I feel so much better for posting a thread about my bun, Chloe, it's so nice to receive kind words for her. So thank you Theo for letting me know about this =]

It's sad to read about all the rabbits who have sadly passed away, but it's so nice to know that there memories will not only live on with their owners... but also with this thread too, and at the candle ceremonies.

Binky free all bunnies xXx

Awww, that's lovely, I think it's really important for everyone to have the opportunity to post when they have lost a beloved pet and I really think the idea of the Candle Ceremony is very comforting.

I definately agree with you Theo. Although It's the whole life cycle, and everything has to pass away eventually, it doesn't stop the hurting...and nothing can. But a forum like this can really help the healing process =] And the candle ceremony is so sweet, I bought a new candle today so I can join in xx
