Perhaps something happened and meant they had to move suddenly to somewhere that didn't allow pets, and had arranged for a friend to take him and they didn't show up or something. I try not to think the worst of people, lots of people aren't aware that rescues take in smaller animals than cats and dogs or life simply throws them into such disarray that things can't be organised in time. At least he wasn't dumped and the landlady found him relatively soon!

bunnyrun - are you the person that runs Eastbourne Rabbit Rescue? Just curious because I'm in Brighton [sort of nearby!!] and if you ever wanted a hand with anything [I don't have a car/transport sadly.. yet] but if there's anything I can do for you I don't mind a trip to Eastbourne at the weekends! :)

Oh right, don't you list your bunnies on Rabbit Rehome?, I'll go and have a look at your website, so are you going to keep little Albert then?, I was keeping an eye because he sounds lovely!!
Fingers and paws crossed that the vet can do something for him, sending Albert lots of healing vibes
