Oakley -Going downhill - Panic over!!

Right oh, as you may well know Oakley has a jaw bone abcess it is under control at the moment, she is on daily painkillers and AB's. Over the last few days her behavior has changed, she keeps running away and making small grunting nioses whilst bobbing her head, kinda like hiccups? Could this be the heat or could this be somthing to do with the abcess??? She is eating, drinking and pooping quite normally.

How is her breathing Phill ? Is the abscess in the upper or lower jaw ?

It's in her lower jaw Jane, her breathing seems fine, she does snore when she's sleeping but she has always done that and it's never been a problem for her, she does also have snuffles as well??
 
I am just wondering if the infection is effecting her airways now. Not in the sense of 'snuffles' but is the abscess tracking inwards and pressing on her windpipe?

I think Jane it is tracking inwards towards her windpipe as she has a lump under her chin which seems to be heading that way
 
Ahhhh big sigh of releif! the secondary abcess which Oaks has developed under her chin has gone soft and changed shaped and is pushing on her vasel (sp) nerve, the one to her diaphram and making her hiccup, the abcess hasn't got any bigger PHEW!
