Wot me - bond rabbits? Well I might try a pig or 2 but that's all - I claim my title of 'bonding coward' proudly
So I was thinking - it's killing me cleaning 15 guinea pig cages/hutches and all the rabbits, but I can't afford new cages or neutering for boy pigs that might not work out anyway
But then I thought  Milo is on his own in a 2x4 cage - why not put him in a smaller one, and bond the only 2 girls I haven't tried together (I gave up when they all seemed intent on killing each other )
Tara was split from her aggressive mum last year, poor girly Although shy, she's an absolute poppet with the funniest face on account of her white 'crown' - And then there's Lulu, who's been alone since I split her from Abbie - why not try them together as Lulu is very timid like Tara?....
They have been in the run since yesterday morning - so far so good although Tara twitters with annoyance non-stop - I had to put 2 seperate beds in for them yesterday afternoon as they were clearly exhausted but too 'on guard' to sleep - poor lassies! Bonding is stressful  No biting or lunging though...yet
And it's thirsty work too - I reckon they hadn't had a drink since yesterday morning :?
Fingers are now crossed they don't object to sharing a 4x2 cage tonight
Meanwhile the bonded group of 3 girls have been fighting since yesterday afternoon as Imogen appears to be 'on heat' You can't win
