I have two male Lionhead rabbits that are 9 weeks old. Leon is very active but Sammy is very quiet. When Sammy is put in his run he never runs about and he isn't very active when he is in his hutch. He eats and drinks as normal and gets on fine with Leon.

I'm not very experienced with rabbits as these ar my first two. Do you think wee Sammy will come out of his shell? or are some rabbits just not as active?

Also when should I get my bunnies vaccinated? I only just got them a week ago so I wanted them to use to us handling them before taking them to a vet.

you can get them myxi'd now and then VHD in about 3 weeks time. The behaviour thing maybe just their character at this stage. I had two boys from a litter, Noah who was very gentle and quiet and Alfie was deffinitely king of the roost. We separated them at 11 weeks when the hormones started to kick in and both their personalities evolved. They couldn't be more different! Bit like any brothers I guess!:)
