Mama Doe
we have moved zeb out of the kitchen at last as we are off to buy a dining set this weekend. plus his behaviour is getting more teenage by the day so we are hoping he might calm down in the living room
his pen isnt as big as he had almost all of our kitchen. i've put his litter tray and his cardboard house (yes we let him have it back as we felt sorry for him) in the understairs cupboard which is about 6ft deep and whatever width stairs are (i think maybe 2 1/2ft). we've put him a rug down and then attached a pen to the front which tapers to 3 1/2 ft wide and is 6ft long. he's got his tunnel and all his toys in there.
since we did this yesterday he's calmed down a lot and seems happier being in the room with us . i reckon he must have felt a bit left out in the kitchen although he's out most of the time anyway.
it also means that the other rabbits can come through the kitchen without him going for them as he used to scare the life out of frida when she came down. we can partition off the living room when the others come down and he can learn to socialise with them without any disasters
sadly the kitchen is now full of the stuff that was piled to the brim of the cupboard so we are going to have to work hard to get it all into the storage in the eaves (2 flights up )
we are then doing a full tank change and moving the fish into the kitchen from the living room and putting the computer in the corner of the living room.
