Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Spraying after neutering HELP!!!!

Am thoroughly peed off (excuse the pun) with Zeb at the moment. We had him neutered in January as soon as his plums dropped as he was a wild peeing nightmare.

Since then he's been very well behaved and he hasnt sprayed me in a while. Until this week that is.

If he's in the living room & i go in the corner of the living room where Lola used to have her litter tray when she was downstairs - he pees on me.

We also had to move him upstairs this morning (to our room where he used to live) as the electrician was coming. What a nightmare! He peed on me just about every step of the way

Is this just him being "territorial" about what he sees as his old territory? Is it a spring thing? Or is he likely to descend into mad peeing constantly again??? I cant cope with it as its absolutely vile especially when I'm trying to get ready for work. Help!!!

if he is peeing on you, then you are his
I was really pleased when Nitro first peed on me  meant he loves me  lucky for me though, he has only done it once :?
sorry, can't help :(

he cant go outside - i dont like to keep my bunnies outside as in winter i dont get home until its dark

the intention is to bond him with Frida - but at the moment they hate each other  . they are all off to bunny camp next saturday for a weeks holiday & sue is going to attempt to bond them on neutral ground. so i think i'll put up with the wild peeing til then

I have found that males who sprayed before the snip still do after, though mainly in the presence of other rabbits  It dosnt seem to smell as bad though :)
