Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Not Eating Veg

Mad Bunster

Hi

I'm looking for some ideas on why Fozzie might not want to eat her veg tonight? Shes been in the garden and has been eating grass and had her pellets and treat this morning, but didn't touch her veg tonight. She was munching on hay instead when I went to check later on.

She has a history of spurs last year, but she never went off food before and I thought if it was teeth causing it then they went off hard food such as pellets?

I'm a bit confused really but will keep an eye on her over the next few days.

Anyones buns had this happen before?

My lot only refuse to eat veg if they have GI Stasis. However, if she is eating other stuff, it may just be that she doesn't like the menu!

Just keep an eye on her though.
