Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

We are very grateful to members who take time to answer other members questions, but please do be clear in your replies that you are sharing personal experience and not giving instructions on what must be done.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

vets in Glasgow, sorry to ask again!

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has a good rabbit vet in Glasgow that they would reccommend? I posted a while back about this but the search button isn't working and I can't find my post  sorry!

My lil bunny has hay fever and has awful sneezing. he was getting anti histamine (sp?) injections every 6 months form our old vet in Edinburgh. We've moved house now and the last vet I tried for his snuffles was awful!

Thanks again and I'm sorry for repeating myself!

Love Cara and Busby (atchooo!)

My friend Anna, is a vet. Her practice is in Bishopbriggs, and is very easy to get to. She looked after my bunnies and I highly recommend her. If you are interested pm me and I will give you the number!

Thank you both.

We're in Queen's Park so Shawlands would be great. We don't have a car but it's on the train line that goes right by our house.

Hi,

We use the Vetenary Centre on Crow Road near Jordanhill. It's a bit of a trek for us as we live in Langside but we found that they are superb with the rabbits and one of the vets seems to specialise in small animals. Their number is 3391228. If you could get a lift up there I would highly recommend them.

hiya,

unfortunately I don't think we can get to Jordanhill.

The name/number for the ones in bishopbriggs and Shawlands would be great! Thanks,

xxxx

If you can get the younger vet I'd go with him, he was better with the buns than the older guy.

p.s. where are you? I'm in Shawlands.
