sheds

I was thinking of getting a shed for 2 medium sized rabbits

the idea is to have somewhere dry and warm during winter for me to play with them

they would have free access to the snuggly hutch inside, and access to the outside by me fitting a flap and building a run

the top of the hutch, I would keep their food and hay bale

is a 4x6 shed big enough or do I need a 6x6 ?

I will have to get 2 sheds for 2 pairs, and I don't want the 6x6 as that means effectively 12x6 + runs, which is a huge space in the garden

what do people think of

any idea why the bigger one would be the cheaper of the 2 ?

I have a 6x4 shed, which is fine, but if I had the space I would have gone for the bigger one, it doesnt sound like much difference, but makes a lot of difference to how you have the layout inside

Mine is a 6x4 with a 6x8 run attached and I find there is loads of room. But it does not stop me wanting something bigger for them. But money is an issue just now. So I'll just daydream about my perfect rabbit house. :D

My shed is 7' by 7' with a 6' 7" x 3' x 2'9ish high run attached. Ozzy's run is the same measurements wide and high but 7' 10" long, his is bigger as he doesnt have the shed attached to his. Hopefully once they are bonded the two runs will be joined.
