Heeelp, My Hutch!!!

One of my hutches has been empty for a few weeks now, and I opened it up this morning to find ...

:shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: Is it mould?!! :eek: Obv. I wont put any bunnies in it, but i want to get rid of it, its gross!! :(

Is that black stuff on wood?! :shock: If it is then I would say its either mould or mildew. You can get specialist cleaners for these, but you obviously need to find out the cause aswell - that doesnt look too good!

Yes, It's black and .. Yuk!! :x It doesnt look good at all, I know ... I wonder where i could find out what it definately is :? It's had taupaulin over the whole hutch for ever!! :? X

That'll be why the mould has grown....The tarpaulin has cut down the amount of air circulating around the hutch. Just get an anti mould cleaner then spray the hutch with F10 solution and let it dry naturally. Keep the tarpaulin off the front of the hutch meanwhile
 
Thanks for posting that becki... cos my hutch has a bit of that on it, and it was only new in July from re hutches. I didnt know what it was, I assumed it was from where they had peed even though I scrub it out every week.
