Im thinking of ordering some from the hay experts but was just wondering if it is safe if they nibble a bit?

I think it's ok. Mine never had a problem with it.

I used it for a while cos my local horse feed place sold the 85lt bags for £5.20. I only stopped using it because all my buns are house buns, and it clings to fur and it got trailed all over the house. I got fed up with cleaning it up every 5 mins!!
