Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Bio lapis Mandy. Have you cut out the veg until it settles. Co-incidentally Daisy has the runs this morning and I have given her some probiotic. She is chomping on hay at the moment and I am monitoring her as I don't like it when they have tummy probs.

Thanks Lorraine, Where do you get it from???? yes have cut all veggies did speak to Jane last week for our catch up and she mentioned it as well, but I forgot what it was called :? :?

It does seem to have got worse with the colder weather, but they look happy. What do you think of them they are in my signature.

You must come over for a coffee and cuddle :D :D

I bought mine from Penstone off the internet as it was cheaper than the vets. But the vet will sell it over the counter. I did read that Pets at Home sell a similar one in their shops.

Avipro is a similar product, I have found Bio Lapis to be more available though. I get it over the counter at my vet, try asking the receptionist there :)

Im pretty much tied up today Mandy but, if you cannot get any locally today, Ill get some to you tomorrow.

Thanks have managed to get some from my vets, took a bit of pursuading :x :x :x :x

Hopefully Sandy will be pooing a bit better soon........
