Bunny Vet in Notts/Lincs/East Mids

Young Bun
Hi,

Does anyone know of a specialist bunny vet in the Nottinghamshire/Lincolnshire area, or Midlands if necessary?

My vet is really, really good, and I trust him a huge amount with all my animals, but I am thinking ahead to if I need further advice for my boy, Willow, who is hit & miss on the eating.

He has been to the vets again this morning, had pain relief, gut stimulant and a vitamin shot, and this is going to happen daily for at least 3 days. He comes home and eats like crazy all day, but once the meds stop, he stops eating. My main concern is if I can't get him to eat once the meds are stopped, I am again going to struglle to get him eating. He has not been eating hay, but is loving broccoli & greens, pellets and apple, so I now wrap some hay in a green leaf, to form a kinda hay cigarette, and they got him eating it.

This is a really strange one.... I can't fathom it out at all why he has stopped eating, my only thoughts are as mentioned by Jane, Annorexia caused from dental pain, he eats after a drive in the car, only a little bit though, so we have been having several trips each day.

So worried for my boy, is really is not like him at all.

Any advice on good bunny vets around these areas, much appreciated.

Thanks

thats who i use too and they are fantastic :thumb:
I like Rachel the best and always ask for her.

Gamston are also extremely good value.

Thank you soooo much for the info on Gamston vets..... strangely enough, I went to the attached pet shop there, and saw that vets only the other week. We run art workshops in Tollerton, and it is about a 25 minute drive from newark, where we live.

If after the pain/gut meds over the next few days, if there is no inpovement in Willow, I will make an appointment to see them at Gamston.

Thanks again for all your help....

Liz & Willow x
