White vinegar/Cider vinegar

I've just brought some cider vinegar for stain removal purposes, although apparently it also makes a delightful poppy seed dressing! Just done a search n the forum though and it seems that white vinegar is the way to go. Is cidar vinegar ok to use too? Which is best?

I just used cider vinegar as I already had it and it seemed to work well :thumb:

Cool, I've just tried it but I think the stains are probably too bad, I will persist

Try leaving it to soak for a bit. You can add some lemon juice too, and even some salt if you want a more abrasive solution to give it a scrub with!

if you can soak the items in the vinegar.

i.e. if its a litter tray put some in the base and let it sit over night

cool, thanks for the advice. I got a it carried away and tipped vinegar on the stains so hopefully in a bit it might just come off...then Roxy will be back to remark her territory :lol: and will probably be very cross at me undoing all her hard work.
