Is chestnut safe for bunnies?

The wood chestnut, that is????
I was just wondering as we use chestnut logs on our wood burner and have a garage full of logs and wondered if it would be safe to give a log to each group of bunsters to climb on and chew?

I have no idea! I'm sure someone will help soon. Was sure you were trying to get into the Christmas spirit then and give Chestnuts to your Buns :lol:
