Help - lumpy feet!

I found today that Honet had a small lump on the outside edge of one of her feet. I brought her in to have a good look and put her in "trance" so I could see properly. I then found that she has an identical lump on the other foot!
It feels firm but a bit squashy, like a really densely matted piece of fur.
I'm hoping that since it is the same on both feet it isn't anything too worrying but am a bit flumoxed as to what it is.
Any ideas? :?

You could try combing her feet if it feels like matted fur.. i got a big lump out of Nala's foot the other day.. dunno how they mat their foot fur its not exactly long :shock:
