Two rabbits at the vets on Wednesday evening.

Ted my very first rescue rabbit has always been very slightly snuffly. Its not needed treatment and its never bothered him until now. Unfortunately it has recently worsened a lot along with some weight loss.

Blue is an older lady coming up to six years. She has had EC before resulting in hind leg paralysis but with Panacur treatment she made a full recovery. She has lost some weight, though no change in her eating/toileting habits so I want her checked out.

Blue is the one facing the camera.

Thankfully nothing to serious.

Ted has got a small Pasturella infection, which hasn’t tracked, onto his chest. He’s had a shot of antibiotics and been given a course of Baytril. Teeth are fine. Chance’s are he’s always going to be snuffly, just a case of treating it when it flares up.

Blue is showing signs of old age. Been advised to treat her with Panacur 28 day course 4 times a year as she is at a higher risk of getting Ec again due to previously having it. Her teeth are starting to tilt ever so slightly so will need a dental at some point. Not bad enough to justify a GA at the moment.
