How do you know if your bun's asleep or just relaxing?

I usually can tell cuz if i go out to their hutch, and they're all snuggled up and jst open an eye sort of sleepily, thn they'r just chilling and having a litle cosy 2gether, if they sort of 'jump' awake then act all sleepy, thn I know they'v been actually asleep, it's hard 2 tell as i suppose each bun is different

If Deej's ears don't move (at all) when I'm talking to him he's asleep! :lol:

Just on the topic of sleep... how many hours do buns generally sleep for each day?

I can never tell - they snooze that much!! Generally though I can tell by where they are. If they are lying under the dining room table looking asleep they are, if they are lying under one of the kitchen chairs they are just snoozing.

With ours you can usually tell because their noses aren't moving, and quite often they will dream and their lips and eyelids will twitch
