Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

Hi, i was wondering if anyone can tell me or show me a picture of the normal legnth of a rabbits front teeth. My rabbit Lily has been behaving abit agressive lately, she has bitten my son and growled at me and hubby. I have tried everything and today wondered if she was having pain from her teeth, my hubby held her whist i checked, they seemed long but not cutting in anywhere. Any advise appreciated. :)

How old is Lilly, is she neutered and when does she bite? Females can become territorial when they grow up and get hormones. They can growl/attack particularly when you put your hands in their cage/bed/food bowl. Spaying usually helps.

If her front teeth look wrong then it's likely any pain would be caused by the backteeth also being overgrown. They get sharp points that cut into tounge/cheeks you need a vet to check those.

Thanks for that, Lily was spayed in Septembet this year, prior to this she was really friendly, she isnt territorial in her shed just when she comes into the house, she likes to lie in her little space at the side of the settee where she has some toys she plays with and has been growling when we try to stroke her there. Sice we lost our other rabbit in October we have noticed a chang in her bahaviour. The Vet give her a full examination prior to her spay in september and her teeth where fine then.
