Sisal Rope

Hiya,

Is it okay to make toys for bunnies with this or no incase they eat it.... or is it just like them eating hay?

It's fine as long as it's not treated with anything. Bunnybasics is right- there are some toys that are covered in sisal. When I have thicker sisal around (from making the kittens a scratching post), I tied extra pieces onto the hanging toys in the bunnies' pens, and they loved it. Their hanging toys are always tied up with thinner sisal.

I have just thrown an old cat scratching post away as the cats had clawed through the sisal. Can I tie some up in the run for him to play with then? Or should I leave it in the bin as it has had cats all over it???
