Sweet veg

I understand sweet veg - such as carrots and swede - should be 'fed sparingly'. What does this mean? Would one carrot per day be OK for a bun or would that be too much? Mine seem to adore carrots, but I don't want to give them too many sugary veg.

They also love apple, but I just give them a slice one every couple of days.

I am sure someone will tellme off, but mine have a carrot a day each

mine love carrots aswell.. doesnt matter what else they have they'll argue over the carrot first! :roll: I give my three a small piece of carrot most days. Occasionally they get a tiny piece of apple or a grape but thats not very often
