Acorn Pets

What is everyone's experience of this chain of pet stores?

The one near me does not provide hay for the rabbits (provided at night when the shop is closed):shock: ,this is so the customers can see the rabbits :? . Also the cages are tiny.

I spoke to my local enviromental officer about this ( abit cheeky I know).
She said that it was ok :? but in my opinion is not ok, as rabbits need access to hay27/7.

this is the same chain that is close to me and the one i got ava from see local pet shop thread. i've stopped using this pet shop unless i'm desperate i get most of my supplies from a little family business who order everything in for me ad drop it right at my door (how spoiled am i) but i reported my local acorn pets to the council as they keep there animals in tiny cages

So tiny I cant believe it :shock: :shock: :shock:
And no hay :shock: :shock: :shock:
I do not know how they get away with it.
