I took lily to get her myxi vacc last week and said to the vet bout getting VHD vacc too. He said they didn't have it in stock and would have to order it. he phoned a couple of nights ago to say they could only order in packs of 10 and as i was the only person in the area who asked for it so it wasn't economical. If i phoned round other vets do you think they would give me it?

crickey thats odd isn't it? I don't see why other vets wouldn't have it. I suppose you wouldn't lose anything by giving it a try.
 
I would ring round and try other vets maybe your current vet doesn't deal in rabbits so much, hence not wanting to order the vaccine.

hiya

when i took harvey for his myxi i asked them if they could order some for me because they dont offer it either - he said i was the only person to have ever asked him. luckly they have got me a vaccine and storing it for me. id deff try another vet and try get them to get some because it is possible. good luck
 
Thanks for your help everyone. i will maybe try some vets outside east kilbride. i know there is a small animal vets in clarkston, bout 20mins away so might try there.
