Rabbit spay/castra prices

It cost me just over £50 to get Barely Castrated about 4 years ago, it a bit more for girls I think, so it certainly doesn't sound expensive.
 
Is that for a male or female? My vets charge £40 for a male and £53 for a female. It can be up to £70 or more for a female as the op is more complicated.
 
b4 i got harvey i rang one vet for a price of boy and girl - boy was £50 something and the girl £70 odd. but i rang other vet after i got harvey after reccomendation and was told it was only £30 for a male at theirs.
huge difference!
 
I paid £48 for male and £60 for female. Some vets will give you a price for the operation and then add on extras such as painkillers and anaesthetic after so make sure the price includes everything!
£45 sounds reasonable.
 
£35 flat for both at the pet vaccination clinic, much more reliable place too rather than a vets, this is routine for them they do it everyday, vets don't really specialise in small animals other than cats and dogs so more 'accidents' tend to happen at vets.

Agree with Jill. Rebecca's day off is thursday! I did think you might be taking your lot there when I read your thread Lynda. You walking? I can just imagine a crate in each hand, one under each arm.... :lol: :lol:

I saw Rebecca when I took Dillon for his vaccs and she was good.

Thanks for that info again Chloe!!

We'll all be off down there soon, luckily, the bloke has now confessed that he loves Benji and doesn't mind helping us down to the vets :D
 
My vets have just put their prices up :x

It used to be £57 before VAT £67 after now its.....

£81 with VAT

Massive price rise :x
 
I paid £94.00 for Bella to be spayed, :twisted: and Benji is going to be done in the next few weeks and its £70.00 for a male :twisted:
