Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Young Bun
Hi guys, need to advise. I'm aware my bunny is moulting. but she not as a patch on her back with no fur at all.

She's been acting fine and still eats well.

It's formed over the last week.

Any advise would be appreciated.

Thanks

Is it anything like this:

Don't know why Polly has bald bit :? Vet had a look and said to keep an eye on it. No sign of mites, not sore looking, appeared after VHD vacs but vet said this usually appeared on back of neck. She lives with Sybil, who is fine.

Not seen any excessive grooming or noticed anywhere she might be rubbing it against anything. No signs of illness.

It got a bit bigger, but not there seems to be small amount of fluff growing but not a lot... It's been there about 3 weeks now.

Would be interested if you find out why and how your bunnny gets on...

Hi guys, thanks for the replies.

She hasn't had and injections recently. he's happy like she normally is and isn't showing any pain. I can stroke/touch the area with no fur and she doesn't mind.

here are a couple of pics i took just now with my phone. please ignore the quality.
