HELP ME please - cage flooring

I desperatly need some help please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rosie is currently in a 48" dog cage during times im not in and free range the rest,

her cage is lined with lino but the moneky is chewing it, despite all her willow toys etc etc.

its at a stage now where the bars are clearly visable underneath her and im worried about her hurting her feet. the plastic base got chewed up by the dog when she was a puppy.

ive tried towels but she just scrabbles them all up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

lol, i thought that but the price they are charging me i may as well buy a new cage!!!!!

i wanted a cheaper alternative....don't think im gna get it!!

Can you get someone to cut you a piece of plywood?

is ply wood safe??

im worried as she could get her teeth into the edges due to the gaps in the cage bars, id be worried about splinters etc....

my bunnies shelf is made of plywood coated with a safe varnish and i havent had any problems with it and they havent tried to chew it at all
