Yellow Pages?

Are yellow pages safe for buns to play with? I've started a large box collecting bits and pieces, and while I was clearing out the understairs cupboard last night I found at least four telephone directories. I wasn't sure whether these were safe for buns to shred, so I've held onto them for now....

If you have a local recycling centre they might have piles of clean yellow pages still in their wrappers. They do as LB Islingtons recycling centre anyway. Loopy finds them boring though!!
