Can VHD jab cause a bald scruff?

Bella's scruff is quite bald at the moment. She had the same thing about this time last year but I'd only just got her and I though maybe it was a result of bonding with Marlon (I was finding tufts of fur around for the first week or so that they were together).
It seemed to disappear over the months but has recently come back and since August is the month she has her annual VHD jab I was wondering whether that might be the cause.

Any thoughts?

Yep Princess had a reaction to the VHD jab + after the sore had gone she was left with a bald patch. A rabbit at work also has this + vet thinks its mites so is on treatment for it.

bald patch

Just got home and Polly has bald patch on neck. Sybil seems ok. They had there VHD injections on Sat - could this be the cause? Do I need take Polly to vets? She is due to go on Tuesday to check eye infection is gone.

I hope the buns are OK. Princess had quite a nasty sore when she had hers last yr, was talking to my vet about it today and she said I should have a good think about whether or not I get it done again, as she said the reaction may increase next time. Which I can see the logic in as first year she had it she was fine yet last year she had that nasty sore, wonder what could happen this year? Not really sure what to do as don't like leaving them unprotected really but also don't want a worse reaction to happen!! She said that as I work where I do I'd prob hear about any VHD outbreaks + there are none in the area right now.

Bit of a dilemma, but I have until December to decide!

yes it is a little worrying  i met a rabbit last year that only had half a nose as the rest had fallen off after a bad reaction to his vhd jab

Smokie had a very bad reaction to his first vhd jab, he lost all of the fur around the site of the injection to the size of 2 ten pence pieces. It went all rd and sore, it took weeks to heal and the fur to grow back, his skin is very sensitive though.

bald under chin

I asked the vet about Polly and he said the bald patch from vacs appear where they were injected, but Polly's bald patch is under her chin - any suggestions??? He said just to keep an eye on it. Here is a picture...

It got a bit bigger after I took this picture, but doesn't seem to have got any worse and no sign of soreness or mites that I can see... :?
