My vet does my bunnies nails when I take for their jabs. Because they are free range, their nails are fine with being cut every six months as they don't get too long.

Hollies nails are getting quite long now, and they dont get worn down cause she is on carpet all the time.

is nail clipping quite easy to do?

I've always done my own buns nails. You need proper animal clippers, and watch out for the quick as it'll make them bleed if you take too much off.

If you're concerned you could get your vet to show you the first time?

I do mine at home. I've got an excellent pair of nail clippers by Mikki and only take a small amount off in one go.

You can buy them online for about £3.50 plus postage.

They sell them here (need to scroll down):

Mine are the Mikki Small Deluxe Nail Clipper.

I'd be extra careful if its the 1st time had them done tho, as dont know how she'll take it - Honey and Harly had there's done at the vets when got jabs, took me and vet to hold them, leapin about everywhere, he ever left a few of Honey's as they weren't very long and he couldnt get them done cuz might nip quick with him jumping
