    Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

certificates?!

hi,
i made an appointment for next sat for a bonding session with rspca. they asked if my rabbit was neurted and vaccinated (which he is). they asked me to bring a long the certificates...BUT..... i dont have any! should i have?

he needed injections again next month should i ask them for a certificate this time?

PLEASE PLEASE advise me as i dont want it to stop me from getting a rabbit with the rspca.

I dont have a certificate fron my vaccs either...dont worry, id just ask your vet to supply you with something saying you've had him vaccinated- they have all your records after all.
 
Each of mine has a record book that the Vet gave me, they sign and date each time they give an injection. Might be worth asking if your vet has a similar thing?
 
But some Vets, like my local one charge a "small fee" for such services, which SHOULD be free!!

:shock: The cheek, I can always recomend a vet which doesnt charge anything for a certificate ... and they are very reasonable when compared to most ... just ask.
 
yep mine have all got rather posh little booklet certificates with their names printed on the front :roll: .

Vets charge enough without charging for the certificates as well
