Most vets around 6 months but some will do them as soon as they reach 1kg

Rosie is 18 weeks today - 4 1/2 months ish....
i ahve been told that after 4 months is fine...bit worried though, even if i do work at a sodding vet - they said, your obvious not happy to get i done now - we will do it whenever you feel comfortable

It depends on your vet. Mine does it as soon as they are 1kg in weight. I find they recover quicker if done earlier. As they get older they develop a layer of fat around the uterus which makes it a bigger op. When Heather was spayed a few weeks ago she was only about 12 weeks old :thumb:
