The puppy moved out yesterday, sorry, but i got my own puppy yesterday, he is a 7 week old bordercollie called ben

AFAIK puppies shouldn't leave home until at least 8 weeks and quite often breeders don't let them go until 10-12 weeks. I think our pup was 11 weeks.

Well in all the books i read and the breeders i contacted then they can leave at 7, but noe that i think about it Ben is 8 weeks old.

also kennel club states that they should not be sold/leave until 8 weeks old

7 weeks is definetly too young, where did you get him? If he is actually 7 weeks, I'd get him checked out by a vet as it sounds like a possible backyard breeder. Did you get papers?
