I have a tarpaulin down under H & H's run (temporary measure til b/f gets round to laying slabs), was out cleanin hutch today and noticed at the back (outside the run, the overhang bit) had rumpled up. In the crease against the wood frame of the run, wood shavings had gathered and got wet with the rain, swept it out and there was a couple of little red wormy things in there, is it little or baby worms or maggots? Like I said they were pinky red, with darker red at either end, and about an inch or so long. Ive been checkin the boys as usual and they have none on them (like I said, they were on the outside edge of the run) but Im jst glad Ive found them. There was a slug in there 2, yeeucchhh!!!!The build up wasnt there a few days ago I dont think, but its been pretty windy and rainy the last few days.

Yeah I thought (+hoped!) so, with the 2 darker red ends. WOuld of felt soooo guilty for not spottin them before if had of been different, I do the hutch and sweep inside the run every day, and notice build up at the front, but only walk round the back occaisionally so dont notice it so much - lesson learnt to check there too now tho!
