Nest building

Well 5 days post spay and Pippa's built another beautiful nest. She gets quite upset when I remove it to clean her cage. She also sits there expectantly, I think she's still awaiting the arrival of little paws :? . Bless her, I hope those pesky hormones calm down soon

Awww poor Pippa Chloe was exactly the same pre-spay, built a lovely nest a couple of weeks ago and just kept looking at me and the nest anxiously every day. It broke my heart that she was just looking for babies and there weren't any I'm sure Pippas hormones will calm down very soon - presumably the hormone drop is quicker for girls than for boys, because certain boy bits stay behind in the tubes, whereas for girls it's all removed isn't it?
