Miffy better then worse again!

Hi guys,

Miffy got much better after starting her course of Panacur last week. Her legs are back to normal and there appears to be no lasting damage from the e-cuniculi! :) All 5 of the others are on it too, which creates interesting wrestling scenarios!! Miffy herself had become "SUPER-MIFFY" - into absolutely everything! Following me around the kitchen, interested in everything that was going on, and really active!

But yesterday we caught Miffy chewing on the overhang of the bin liner from the bin, and it seems that today it's given her stasis again... So we took her down to the vets this evening and the vet said her tummy feels a little "doughy" like she's in the first stages of stasis. Plus, the way Miffy was acting today was like she acted the day before she got really bad last time she had stasis. Because we recognise it now it's been caught early.

Anyway, she's in overnight at the vets so that the first doses of gut mobility drugs can be injected and they can also tell when she first poops (as she lives with Miles it's hard to tell). With any luck she'll get back to normal much faster because we've caught it much earlier, and the vets hope to have her pooping again by tomorrow mid-afternoon.

So yeah, just thought an update was in order!

Keeping everything crossed that she`ll make a full recovery, the main thing with gi Statis is to get the med`s in early before they become to bad.

Miffy you must stop testing Mummy and Daddy's stress threshold like this!!

Hope that she will soon be back home and much better.
Well done for acting so promptly and getting her to the Vets :thumb:

Thanks everyone!!

Miffy was out by early Friday afternoon, I got her home with some Maxalon syrup and Science Recovery but within 2 hours she'd eaten a small piece of broccoli, 2 Shreddies, a handful of Excel and a whole STACK of hay! She then proceeded to leg it round the living room like a nutter, so we concluded that she was well again after that!! :D

Blimey she's frayed our nerves recently!! Thanks for all your good wishes, guys!
