Beach Mats

You know those mats that you can get to lie on when you're at the beach?

Do you think that will be ok for temporary flooring?

Shadow (now Benji) is in the argos cubes til his new cage comes on Monday and I was wondering if this is safe to use as flooring to protect my carpet.

Doesn't say anywhere what it is but it smells like straw?!

My only concern would be that its a bit abbrassive and being a Rex Benji would be better on soft flooring.
Even a Vinyl flooring off-cut would do. Anything that is not very abbrassive.

Thanks Jane. So its not going to harm him if he tries to eat it?

He has a carpet door mat in his pen which he is currently sprawled out on and he's got a towel in there too so he won't be directly on it, I was just wanting to check that its not harmful to him.

Will try and get some more pics of him either later on today or tomorrow Jane am babysitting the 7 week old niece tonight so may not get a chance to take them this evening... My sister is in lurve with him as well, she was very impressed that he sat with us while we watched tv :thumb: :lol:
