The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Bald patch on tummy

toffee

Mama Doe
I was doing Wallace's bum check yesterday and noticed that the top of her tummy (behind her arms) is bald!!

It's in a reactangle about 8 cms by 5 cms.

Anyone any ideas why?? She's neutered and has been for 3 months.

Why though when she's neutered? :?

I have to say I haven't seen evidence of the fur in the house.

Could it be from where they shaved her when she was spayed? Is it possible that it hasn't grown back and I just never noticed before? It's uniformly bald and smooth and normal skin colour. :?

Possibly, yes. Molly was spayed in February and her fur has only just grown back. It also grew back in a very odd way so that she went from having a completely bald tummy to a bald tummy with a strip of fur right up the middle (ie a bald patch at either side).

I checked with my fella last night (he torments the buns more than me  ) and apparently she's been like that since we got her so it's probably from spaying.

I only pick her up to do bum checks really because she doesn't like being picked up so never noticed!!
