hey all thumper has allways been a indoor bun am just wondering if he should have grass to nibble on ?? as i know rabbits eat grass when they live outside , would it be worth giving some to thumps tc luv becks xx :?

Yes, you can give Thumps HAND PICKED grass but NOT grass cuttings.
Just give a small amount to start with but Thumps should be fine on it.
You also need to be sure no chemicals have been used to treat the grass.

We've had a few posts on this before

I think, from what I can remember, that it's because the grass breaks down and ferments after it's been cut and you get oil on the grass from the lawnmower.

Question - why can't you give buns grass cuttings? :D

Thanks

Something to do with how fermented it is.
It's the same with horses.

I hand pick mine, but I went on a mad strimming spree & there's none left at the min
