I have three rabbits Honey, Rosie and Jess the black lionhead. Its been warm around here lately, but not the hottest its been for a while. Jess seems to pant all the time compared to the other two (castor rex and PEW polish). Even when its not that sunny or hot and often when shes just lying down flat out not having ran around or anything like that. She doesn't have any other symptoms of being ill and is very bright, drinks like a fish and eats like a horse.
Is her panting normal because shes a black rabbit (which would absorb heat from the sun better than my white bunny) and because she has longer hair than my other two rabbits?
She does get bullied by Honey and Rosie and has always been quite skittish around them but not hugely skittish, I just mean not as relaxed as my other two who I've had longer!
