I know! I used to feed Rabbit Royal at £9.99 for 20 kg and then i rang and asked how much the A&P were and they said £5.75 so i switched and the buns love it! And it's so good for them! Even a specialist from edinburgh has said they are on the best possible diet!

Doesn't A and P encourage selective feeding? One of my buns was on it when she came to me and only ate 'the nice bits' as appealing and sweet smelling as it is, I worry it wouldn't all be eaten so there would be more waste? Let me know how it goes Jane as mine are on Excel and it's extortionate!

do you order you a&p pellets online?
if you do would you kindly share the link please? :D
i want to change to a&p but cant find anyone near me that sells them
thankyou very muchley

Donna most shops can order it in, just have to ask

Raven, A&P do a pellet feed as well as a mix, Jane's on about the pellets

I pay about £5.60 for a 20 kilo sack of the natural pellets (they do breeder ones too).
My normal place stopped stocking them, so I just 'phoned A+P and they gave me a list of other places near me who stocked them - most helpful.
My bunnies are doing brilliantly on them. With all the hay they eat too, their poos are huuuuuge  :D

No I can apparently get them via the Farm I buy my Hay etc from.
Never thought to ask them before

Allen and Page Natural Rabbit Pellets doesn’t encourage selective feeding as it’s a pellet feed not a mix.

I get a 20kg sack for £6.00.

You may have to persevere when changing over to A&P. I don’t think it is as palatable as other feeds to start with and some Rabbits take a bit longer to get used to it.

Yep Jane A+P are a brill price and a really good food too! Both mine are on A+P and although some of the sack either doesn't get eaten before it's best before date or it goes outta date and the buns eat it, it's still much better value than any other food!

Hope ur bunnies like it :)

No, A & P Natural rabbit pellets does not encourage selective feeding as it is a pellet. :)

Mine are on it too and their poos look better than even on SS. I found first that I fed to much A & P because I gave them the same volume as SS, but SS is much lighter so they need a lot less of A & P because the pellet is heavier!

Oh that's great, it mustn't have been a and p the lady gave me with her bun as that had all sorts in it! I shall ahve to find somewhere that sells it and give it a go! Thanks hun x

That's what all the advertising and fancy packaging does... or the lack of it in the case of A & P...
