Last night, I was sitting on the sofa after spending 2 hours ironing & packing (nearly ready 
) for my hol tomorrow, When Chocolate, my rex, who has always hated me, bounded through the living room (her & the other 3 were all in all rooms, cos they won't be out as much while i'm away), & she jumped up onto the sofa, & happy bunny flopped next to me (on top of my newly ironed clothes, but I wasn't arguing!!). She didn't move for ages, & let me stroke her belly. 11 months since I got her, & she might not hate me anymore
Course i'm away for a week now, & she'll forget who I am & the whole process will start again
