  • Please Note - Medical Advice

Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

We are very grateful to members who take time to answer other members questions, but please do be clear in your replies that you are sharing personal experience and not giving instructions on what must be done.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

HELP

hi..i hate to say..oooh go this site..but in this case i will!!
Our bunny bonding was not textbook and it was harder than i ever imagined..but we id it!
My 21 yr old daughter whose housebound with severe cfs/me runs the site...and we have done our best to help others who are having a rough time like we were!

whens shes having a good hour shes yet to add bunny proofing links..we must be expert at it now..weve had 4 house buns! You soon learn!

Bonding is not a righ or wrong way..its a case of take from others and see what works for you..

apologies for adding link but in this case i think its vital!

good luck and give us the fedback on what you achieve with buns!

How is it going Nicola? As a last resort you could put them in a per carrier together and take them for a drive, this usually makes them comfort each other and may help them to bond!

I said to Nicola about neutral territory and Hollie has been spayed and Thumper is neutered :? the thing is it doesn't always work straight away! :? Poor thumper will be wondering what is going on

Kareen, im thinking should i bring thumper up with hollie to yours and then put them in neutral territory? i really want things to work.

i really want him to have a friend so hes not left all day by himself.
i think hollie likes girls better cause i brought Diva my big bun in and hollie was cuddling into her.. .lol maybe its just guys she dont like cause she dont like being humped! lol
