Is Melanie a rabbit?!

Just thought that I'd pass on the funny conversation one of the boys that I work with (he has very mild autism)had with his mum when she told him that I have two rabbits...

Mum - "Melanie has rabbits..blah, blah, blah"
Alex - "Is Melanie a rabbit too?"
Mum - "Hmmmm, lets think about this...does she have great big ears?"
Alex - "No." (Thank you Alex, so glad the answer wasn't yes!!!)
Mum - "Does she do this a lot *twitches nose and shows front teeth* and eat a lot of carrots!?"
Alex - "No."
Mum - "Do you have to bend down to give her a stroke?"
Alex - "No."
Mum - "So what do you think, is Melanie a rabbit?"
Alex - "Hmmmm *pauses* No."
