Milly's big adventure

jay

Mama Doe
Milly has yet to venture out of the dining room so tonight when Jack goes into the living room I am going to try and tempt her out with some dandilions (which she loves!). She is getting more and more used to me and always comes over - albeit very slowley, ears stretched forward! - when I sit down with Jack.

Any tips apart from the obvious, go slow, lie down, give food ones? I tried to leave her too it with a trail of food the other day but she wasn't up for that.

Poor girl gets all lonely in the dining room on her own on an evening!

Hows about bringing the cage into the living room so Milly will be in a known safe environment. She will then get used to all the different noises and smells in the living room. You could leave the cage door open and she might venture out if she knows she has a safe retreat nearby.
You are doing brilliantly with all the patient socialising of Milly and it will be very worth-while I am sure.

Is the living room flooring different? Some bunnies are wary of slippy surfaces like laminate and adding a rug with tempt them out.
