Q on introducing males currently kept seperated

I was wondering if anyone had ever seen any progress with getting two male bunnies in a household with an existing pair already, to work in the long term?

How long might it be after neutering that might be worth attempting any potential bonding if at all?

We were discussing getting a rescued female for our newly acquired Gizzy once he had settled past his neutering stage, and really settled down nicely.
Just wondering, would it be normal to expect that one group of rabbits might never get on with another and best practice to keep them seperate anyway ? Or more of a suck it and see ?
