Apple tree branches & Seagrass

BOO

Young Bun
Hi, just after some advice please. I just cut my new bunny some apple tree twigs and branches to chew on & a few are covered in green mossy stuff, is this safe for him to eat or does it need to be washed off first? Should he be eating the twigs or just chewing on them?

Also was wondering if seagrass matting is safe for buns. I need to buy some straw mats to cover my mums wooden fireplace when he goes holidaying there and was wondering if normal seagrass matting from the carpet shop would be ok? I've seen seagrass mats for sale in some petshops and was just thinking buying offcuts would be cheaper!

I would wash the moss off just incase dont know about the sea grass, whts in the pet shop will be a bit different to your rug by the fire. val
