Greens water??

Can any one tell me if we can give the rabbits the greens water that we cooked the greens in??Obviously cooled down???

I wouldn't. Unless the greens are organic, there's likely to be fertilisers and insecticides and all manner of stuff all nicely boiled down in it. Even if the greens were organic I still don't think I would, though :?

Ok I didnt realise as they are surposed to be good for us,thought mite be good for the buns, :shock: does that mean its bad for us too???

I think the reason it's said to be good for us is that we cook our veg to death and all the nutrients are left in the water - rabbits eat all their veg raw so they don't lose the nutrients by cooking...I would guess it might cause wind in humans actually? Haven't a clue - I only cook veg for 5 mins anyway so it's only just cooked

I kill my greens :lol: the kids do drink some of the greens water :shock: i never would as a kid but they like it!!!!!Yuck :lol:

I use it as stock for gravy
